How far in advance should we book our engagement session?

It's best to book your engagement session at least 2-3 months in advance, especially if you want to shoot during peak seasons like spring or fall.

How long does an engagement session typically last?

Engagement sessions usually last between 1 to 2 hours, depending on the package you choose.

WHAT ARE YOUR TRAVEL FEES?

When we it comes to travel, we place a lot of value on your investment + work diligently to respect the opportunity to travel for your elopement, session, or wedding. Each inquiry receives a custom quote based on the location and desires. To work with our couples we offer everything from bare bones (session fee + Katie's travel expenses) to all-inclusive options (that give you more bang for you buck + both of us there for your adventure)!

What happens if I cancel MY ENGAGEMENT SESSION?

Life happens and we understand! Everything is spelled out in our contract but essentially if you give us enough heads up, we only keep the non-refundable retainer and send over a cancellation contract. As the date gets closer (a month or two out), we keep what has been paid at that point and send over a contract as well. Sadly, the closer to the date, the more likely we've already turned down work to save your day in our calendar, which is a lot for a small business.

WHAT IF THERE'S BAD WEATHER?

We don't let the weather rain on our parade! If it's a session or elopement, we are always open to rescheduling to an available date within 2 weeks of the original date. If it's a wedding or you can't reschedule, don't worry!! We have clear umbrellas that are perfect for rainy, magical photos. Don't mind us, David is an expert umbrella holder + our gear is weather sealed. 

WHAT IF MY WEDDING DATE CHANGES?

Yes, props and pets are welcome! They add a personal touch to your photos and help tell your story.

Can we include multiple locations in our session?

Yes, if you opt for a longer session, we can include multiple locations. This allows for more variety in your photos.

 How long will it take to receive our photos?

You can expect to receive your fully edited photos within 2-4 weeks after the session.

WHAT IS A SECOND SHOOTER?

Second shooters are much more common now than they used to be. We always prefer to both be shooting (Katie as the lead, David as the second). This allows us to not miss any moments, stay on time, and work effectively throughout your day!

HOW FAR WILL YOU TRAVEL?

To the ends of the world!! Really though, our bags are packed and passports ready. There's no where too far, no where we don't want to visit (or visit again), and no too short of a notice for a wild adventure.
