HOW MANY IMAGES WILL I RECEIVE?
We don't have a limit on how many images you will receive! Our couples typically receive an average of 200 for sessions, 400 for elopements, and 900 for full wedding days. We guarantee 50 images per hour of coverage at as a minimum.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR FOR MY SHOOT?
This can sometimes be the trickiest part! Have no fear, we got you covered with a whole PDF of how to style your outfit with your boo. We provide different color palettes that work with our earthy scenery. Our favorite shops to find these styles are also listed in there!
WHAT ARE YOUR TRAVEL FEES?
When we it comes to travel, we place a lot of value on your investment + work diligently to respect the opportunity to travel for your elopement, session, or wedding. Each inquiry receives a custom quote based on the location and desires. To work with our couples we offer everything from bare bones (session fee + Katie's travel expenses) to all-inclusive options (that give you more bang for you buck + both of us there for your adventure)!
WHAT HAPPENS IF I HAVE TO CANCEL?
Life happens and we understand! Everything is spelled out in our contract but essentially if you give us enough heads up, we only keep the non-refundable retainer and send over a cancellation contract. As the date gets closer (a month or two out), we keep what has been paid at that point and send over a contract as well. Sadly, the closer to the date, the more likely we've already turned down work to save your day in our calendar, which is a lot for a small business.
WHAT IF THERE'S BAD WEATHER?
We don't let the weather rain on our parade! If it's a session or elopement, we are always open to rescheduling to an available date within 2 weeks of the original date. If it's a wedding or you can't reschedule, don't worry!! We have clear umbrellas that are perfect for rainy, magical photos. Don't mind us, David is an expert umbrella holder + our gear is weather sealed.
WHAT IF MY WEDDING DATE CHANGES?
In the times of the COVID, we fully understand the desire to change your date as restrictions may continue and the date nears. We offer several options including a free reschedule to an available day no less than 6 months before the date, the closer to the date requires a small fee to reschedule, and we only offer 1 reschedule before we have you sign a new contract, no big deal! We also offer to split coverage to have an elopement on your original day + the remaining coverage hours left will be used for your party at a later date! So many options, so no worries!
WILL YOU HELP ME FIND VENDORS?
Of course!! It's crucial to build a great team for your day + we have amazing vendors that we know + fully trust that we love referring our brides to, some even helped our wedding day came together! Our favorite vendors will be found in the Welcome Guide. If we are traveling, we have friends in many places + know so many great vendors is various areas of the USA + the world!
HOW DO YOU ACCEPT PAYMENTS?
Great question! We expect payments a few different ways. You can use Zelle to transfer from bank to bank, a check made out to Hevesi Co, or if you want those skymiles, you can request an invoice through Honeybook, our Client Management Software.
WHAT IS A SECOND SHOOTER?
Second shooters are much more common now than they used to be. We always prefer to both be shooting (Katie as the lead, David as the second). This allows us to not miss any moments, stay on time, and work effectively throughout your day!
HOW FAR WILL YOU TRAVEL?
To the ends of the world!! Really though, our bags are packed and passports ready. There's no where too far, no where we don't want to visit (or visit again), and no too short of a notice for a wild adventure.

I’ve gotten so many compliments that my wedding photos captured the day better than anyone could’ve imagined. The venue for the wedding was absolutely stunning, but somehow, Katie and David made it look even more stunning in the way they shot their photos. One of my favorite things from our engagement shoot was when they whipped out a speaker and starting playing music that we all jammed out to. They are truly a joy to be around, and they are the sweetest couple. Very professional and talented photographers! Katie sends out sneakpeaks so quickly and is very timely with responding and sending out the rest of the bulk of the photos. I would recommend them to anyone!
