Privacy Policy

Last updated June 18, 2026

Hevesi Journal is a wedding photography and film studio based in Atlanta, Georgia. This policy explains what information we collect through hevesijournal.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep this simple — we collect only what we need to respond to you and to understand how the site is used.

Information we collect

When you submit an inquiry, you share the details you choose to enter — typically your name, email address, wedding or event date, location, and anything you tell us about your day. Inquiries are handled through our booking partner, HoneyBook, which processes and stores them on our behalf.

As you browse, we also collect limited, standard analytics — pages visited, referring links, approximate location, device and browser type, and similar usage data. This is gathered through Vercel Analytics and PostHog and is used in aggregate.

How we use information

  • To reply to your inquiry and plan your coverage.
  • To send information you have asked for about our work.
  • To understand how the site is used and improve its content and performance.
  • To meet legal, tax, and contractual obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it except with the service providers described below or where required by law.

Cookies and analytics

The site uses cookies and similar technologies for basic functionality and analytics. You can refuse or remove cookies through your browser settings; some parts of the site may be less convenient as a result.

Third-party services

We rely on a small set of trusted providers, each with its own privacy practices: HoneyBook (inquiries and booking), Vercel (hosting and analytics), PostHog (product analytics), Sanity (content management), and embedded media such as YouTube. When you interact with an embed or follow a link to one of our social profiles, that service’s own policy applies.

Data retention

We keep inquiry and client information for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet our legal and business obligations, then delete or anonymize it.

Your choices

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you. Email us and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Children

The site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
